I am part of the DFG Forschungsgruppe FOR 2857 CuI as Multifunctional Semiconductor. We are interested in copper iodide due to its unique properties as a p-type transparent conducting material. Here I apply computational methods like density functional theory, minima hopping method and machine learning to characterize CuI and CuI-based materials regarding their optical and elecronic properties.
My research focus on the light-matter interaction under high intensity Laser in atom scale. Use Time-dependent density functional theory and semiconductor Bloch equations to study the electrons excitations and nonlinear properties.
My research group is dedicated to finding room-temperature hydride superconductors under different pressures through crystal structure prediction and machine learning. We explore the superconducting properties of hydrides, aiming to design and uncover novel superconducting materials.
