7th International Symposium on Gas-Phase Synthesis of Functional Nanomaterials

The 7th International Symposium on Gas-Phase Synthesis of Functional Nanomaterials was successfully held from May 4 to 6, 2026, at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Duisburg. The symposium brought together researchers from academia from several countries to discuss recent advances in gas-phase synthesis, nanoparticle formation, diagnostics, modeling, and related applications. Over the course of three days, participants contributed through keynote lectures, oral presentations, poster sessions, and scientific discussions in a focused and collaborative atmosphere. The symposium was organized by RC FEMS director Christof Schulz. RC FEMS professor Andrea Kirsch was one of the keynote speakers.
